Welcome to Hope College

We are glad for your interest in us. Hope College admits students from across Ghana, Africa and all over the world. We create a conducive and homely environment that is tailored towards personal well-being and excellent academic pursuit.

We run the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum for Senior High Schools and our students take the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) at the end of their studies.

Admission is opened for the 2024/2025 academic year

HOW TO APPLY

Hope College has opened applications for admission for prospective students for the 2024/2025 academic year.  Interested parents/guardians and students can apply online for a fee of three hundred Ghana cedis (GH¢ 300.00)

Kindly note that all applicants will be required to upload a passport-size photo with either a black or white background at the appropriate section. There will also be an entrance examination for all applicants.

 

In filling the forms, applicants are to choose convenient dates and venues for the entrance examination.  The examinations will be taken on July 20 and 27, 2024 in Accra, Tema, Tarkwa, and Gomoa–Fetteh.

Please note that an application is deemed to be fully completed after the payment of the fee to HOPE COLLEGE via Mobile Money on 055-876-9493.

The reference for the payment should be EE and the name of the applicant. For example “EE Kofi Mensah”

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

All applicants are expected to take an entrance examination.

 

The examination covers three common core subjects, which are English Language, Integrated Science, and Mathematics.

There are two sittings for the examination. The first sitting (Paper 1) is an objective test that comprises 20 questions each for English, Integrated Science, and Mathematics.  This makes a total of 60 questions. This paper lasts an hour.

The second sitting is a subjective or essay test for the three subjects. Candidates are required to answer questions as instructed in the various subjects. This paper lasts for an hour and a half.

 

There is a snack break of 30 minutes between the two papers.

Only successful candidates will be admitted to Hope College.
