MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME AND COMMUNITY SERVICE

We see every student as a special gift from God to the family and society at large. We are therefore committed in giving every one the best of care. Each student is assigned a teacher-mentor. The mentorship programme trains students with the requisite skills in personal growth, values and leadership and prepares them to face the realities of life.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

We train our students to serve all persons especially the underprivileged and down-trodden. To this end, every student is required to serve his or her community for free, for at least 100 hours by the end of their second year. Through this programme our students are equipped with practical skills to make a different in the world. They are shaped to appreciate life better through selfless service.

WHY HOPE COLLEGE

SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

Hope College is affiliated to the Churches of Christ. We see each student as a precious soul that must be nurtured to know his or her Maker and serve humanity. Students are trained to live morally pure and godly lives in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

We believe that music is food for the soul. Every student attends singing rehearsal and they sing harmoniously and melodiously to the glory of their Maker.

DORMITORY LIFE

All our students are boarders and they enjoy life in neat and spacious dormitories. We frown on bullying of any sort. Our students enjoy regular supply of water. They are given professional health care by the trained personnel of the Hope Christian Hospital, which is just a stone’s throw away.
